Hirer Terms and Conditions

 

By signing this, the hirer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

1.                   General    

1.2   The Studio Representative is:

2.                   Housekeeping

 

1.1   The hirer shall ensure sessions start and finish promptly, at the times scheduled and cause no inconvenience to other hirers, staff, or users of the studio.

 

2.1   The hirer shall keep the studio clean and tidy and to ensure it is left in an acceptable state following any use. If The Hirer is the last studio user of the day, they will ensure any rubbish is disposed of and the studio is left in an acceptable state for use the next day.

 

2.2   The hirer shall not make any alterations to the studio. This includes changes to rigging, settings, equipment locations and purpose, unless pre-authorized by the Studio Representative and supervised by a suitably qualified and experienced person.

 

2.3   Any breakages, defects to property in the building made by the hirer or members of their group while they spend time in the building will be paid for and invoiced directly.

 

2.4   The hirer agrees not share the key code system and entry to the premises with anyone else unless agreed with the Studio Representative.

 

2.5   Candles and incense can be burned but please be mindful of the safety implications and potential damages to surfaces, the building and its contents. The hirer will be liable for any damages to the studio and the building.

 

2.6   The hirer shall ensure that they have undertaken training with the Studio Representative on basic housekeeping and security prior to commencing any classes.

 

2.7   The hirer shall ensure that every person who enters the studio removes their shoes upon entry.

 

2.8   We do not hold lost property in the building. If a hirer/group attendee leaves anything in the studio, it is the responsibility of the hirer to return this to the owner of such goods.

 

2.9   The hirer cannot bring any animals into the studio unless agreed with the Studio Representative.

 

2.10   The hirer shall not bring any unattended children into the studio unless agreed with the Studio Representative . Any accompanied children must not touch any equipment or use any equipment.

 

2.11   The hirer shall ensure that their clients do not make excessive noise outside the studio before and after classes.

 

3.                   Classes and Instruction

 

3.1   The hirer agrees to not use the studio for any activities not covered by the hirer’s insurance policy.

 

3.2   Hirers take full responsibility for the content of their classes and are responsible for ensuring each class is safe and effective for all students attending.

 

3.3   The hirer shall at all times when covered under this agreement behave in a professional and safe manner as expected of similar professionals within the industry.

 

3.4      The hirer shall always ensure that during their classes, a suitably qualified and experienced person is within the studio, and shall not leave any students, staff, or other associates of the hirer unattended.

 

4.                   Equipment

 

4.1   Any equipment used must be put away in its correct place after use.

 

4.2   Hirers agree to report any damage to the studio or related equipment to the Studio Representative by phone or email as soon as possible.

 

5.                   Insurance and Health and Safety Requirements

 

5.1   The hirer must hold adequate insurance cover for all activities taught. On return of this agreement, they must provide a copy of this insurance to be held by the Studio Representative.

 

5.2   Insurance cover must be through a reputable insurer, cover must be kept up to date, be valid for the length of the contract and the hirer must comply with the terms and conditions of their insurance policy at all times.

 

5.3   Hirers will abide by all Health and Safety procedures in place at The Humble Hub (see health and safety policy).

 

5.4   No alcohol is to be consumed anywhere on the premises, unless you have applied for a licence. The Humble Hub has a no smoking policy, in or around the premises. Please advise your group members of this.

 

6.                   Invoicing, Payment, and Studio Hire

 

6.1   Hirers will be invoiced monthly around 30th of each month for their hire hours. Hirers will also receive the income from their class bookings through Lemon Booking on the 30th of each month.  Deductions will be made accordingly and the balance paid into an account supplied by the hirer.  *1.9% stripe payment fees apply.

6.2   Payment must be made within 4 days of the invoice.


 

6.3   Hirers are responsible for their own tax/national insurance provisions.

 

6.4   Hirers pay for studio hire at the following rates:

 

6.4.1  Affiliate - £20 per hour

 

6.4.2  Space hire only - £20 per hour

 

6.4.3  Community - £12.50 - £15 per hour

 

6.4.4  Collaboration – revenue share

 

*ask for information on different rates and what is included.

 

6.5          Hirers will automatically be given 15 minutes at either end of their scheduled hire times for set up and close down. If you require any additional time, please let the studio representative know and we can arrange this. A chargeable fee depends on the length of time needed,

 

6.6          The studio rep agrees to provide the following for the hiree:

 

6.6.1   Bluetooth stereo speaker system

6.6.2   Coffee and tea (for affiliates)

6.6.3   Shoe and coat rack for personal and student use

6.6.4   Bathroom products for personal and student use

6.6.5   Access to the entry system.

 

7.                   Confidentiality

 

7.1          Hirers shall not disclose any confidential information related to The Humble Hub either during or after this contract. This includes: Client information, hire terms and conditions, internal policies.

 

7.2          The hirer agrees that at all times when covered under this agreement they shall not engage in any activity, whether online, physical, written or verbal which may cause detriment to the reputation of the studio, the studio representative, the Humble Hub/Humble Warrior brand and/or its staff and associates.

 

7.2a The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring all parties under their responsibility shall adhere to this and shall report any instance or occurrence to the Studio Representative immediately.

 

7.2b The hirer agrees that while under this agreement, they shall not engage in any negative discussion of similar businesses or hirers while in the public realm – whether online, physical, written or verbal.

 

 

8.                   Complaints procedure

 

8.1             If you are unhappy with anything in the studio/anything that interrupts the delivery of your session/ access to and out of the centre, cleanliness, hygiene, safety for example-please raise this with the Studio Representative. They will endeavour to resolve the issue within a 24-48 hour period.


9         Liability

 

9.1   The Studio Representative and The Humble Hub accept no liability for any loss or damage to The Hirer’s property whilst using The Studio.

 

9.1.1 If the hirer stores any items in the studio, they will be responsible for ensuring that items are stored in a safe and unobtrusive way in the areas as agreed with the studio representative.

 

9.2   The Studio Representative and The Humble Hub accepts no liability for any death, injury, accident or illness suffered by the hirer, or liability for any death, injury, accident or illness suffered by any of the hirer’s students, associates, or members whilst using The Studio.

 

10     Termination and Expiry

 

10.1              This contract can be terminated if the hirer provides one calendar months’ notice at any point during the contract period. Please note any regular hourly changes require a month’s notice.

 

10.2       Violation of any of these terms will result in review of the hirer’s ability to hire the studio at The Humble Hub and may result in immediate termination subject to the studio representative’s judgment.

 

10.3              Upon termination, the hirer shall arrange for return of all keys and any other property of The Studio to be returned to the Studio Representative as soon as possible.
